Acne During pregnancy

Acne is a skin disorder that predominantly affects young subjects. An excessive hormone production leads to an increase of secretions in the sebaceous glands in the skin, causing the appearance of unpleasant Francklin, which often make it difficult social relations. Unfortunately, acne as well as adversely affect the aesthetic field of the person also becomes the nest for bacteria and dust and can therefore be harmful to the skin. Period of pregnancy are different for different women some women face a lot of side effects during this period and some may not face any side effects at all. Pregnant women often find their struggling with acne. The reason for acne during pregnancy is the hormonal changes that pregnancy brings. This overproduction of hormones during pregnancy causes the sebaceous glands to shift into overdrive and begin producing excess sebum. The sebum then clogs the pores and begins the cycle of development of acne.

What are the defects in neural tube closure?

It is the failure of normal closure of the skull and spine during the first trimester.

One of the flaws, spina bifida, the spinal cord does not protected and usually this causes some degree of paralysis and loss of some functions. The closure of skull defects are most serious, and very often result in stillbirth or newborn.

Defects in neural tube closure occur in our population, about 1 in 1,000 births, the risk is higher when close relatives are affected and in pregnant women with insulin dependent diabetes

Amniocentesis

Usually occurs between weeks 15 and 18 after the last menstruation. In most cases the result takes about two weeks.

How?
Amniocentesis is a medical procedure by which a sample of amniotic fluid. It uses ultrasound to guide the actions of the doctor inserts a needle through the mother’s abdomen to reach the amniotic fluid. The doctor will remove a sample of amniotic fluid and then verify the baby’s heartbeat.

Why is it done?
Amniocentesis is performed to determine if the baby has:
* Any abnormality of chromosomes.
* Any disease that affects your metabolism serious birth defects such as spina bifida or Down syndrome.
* Diseases caused by an abnormal gene, metabolic, neurological, and so on.
* Also determine the sex of the baby.
* In case you need to check lung development, amniocentesis was carried out during the third quarter.
