The combination of high blood pressure, disturbances to lipid metabolism, obesity and diabetes is known as metabolic syndrome and represents a high risk to the health of the individual dar.

The combination increases the risk of cardiovascular disease, patients require an enormous and dense, medical control in order to get the metabolic syndrome under control. Be diagnosed, even if only three of the four components, is already talk of a metabolic syndrome, wherein the diabetes is the biggest risk of the four individual diseases.

The medical term for low blood pressure is hypotension. The hypotension causes symptoms. In contrast to high blood pressure but does not damage the blood vessels. From a low blood pressure is called for women, if the value is below 100/60 mmHg in men, and if it is below 110/70 mmHg. Affected are mostly slender people, particularly young girls and women.

The symptoms are caused by the fact that the brain through the low pressure too little blood. These are among the complaints by visual disturbances, headache, dizziness to fainting. The body defends itself against the low blood pressure with increased heart rate. Other symptoms include cold hands and feet, lassitude, fatigue, tinnitus and insomnia.
